ELLINWOOD HOSPITAL FOUNDATION
The Ellinwood Hospital Foundation exists to ensure our community has access to the very best healthcare—today and for generations to come. Through generous donations, community partnerships, and fundraising efforts, the Foundation provides vital support for new equipment, expanded services, and facility improvements at Ellinwood Hospital & Clinic. Every gift stays local, directly benefiting patients, families, and caregivers in our area. Together, we are building a stronger, healthier future for Ellinwood and the surrounding communities.

Recent Foundation Projects:
Our Rich History
The Ellinwood Hospital Foundation, a non-profit 501(c)(3), was originally established in 1987 as the Area Health Care Foundation. From the beginning, a volunteer Board of Trustees carefully guided donations to improve healthcare for patients, funding vital equipment, scholarships, service fairs, and community education. These early gifts created a legacy of generosity that continues to impact lives today.
In 2015, the Foundation reorganized as the Ellinwood Hospital Foundation to more clearly reflect its mission: supporting the health of our local communities through the services and programs of Ellinwood Hospital and Clinic. With the addition of an Executive Director, the Foundation has continued to expand its reach, strengthen resources, and grow its support for patient care.
Thanks to the dedication of community-minded donors and the stewardship of the Board, the Foundation remains a vital partner in advancing healthcare in Ellinwood — today, and for generations to come.
